Forest Worker Day is a professional holiday for workers in the forestry, forestry, woodworking and pulp and paper industries.
According to Presidential Decree № 356/93 of August 28, 1993, which is celebrated annually on the third Sunday in September. This day draws the attention of all people to the need to care for forest plantations, the inadmissibility of massive deforestation and their clogging.
By the Day of Forest Workers, the Scientific Library prepared a bibliographic index "Forestry". The index includes textbooks, study guides, monographs, reference, popular science literature and publications from periodicals, in the funds of the University’s Scientific Library and disclose the contents of the concept under study in the sections:
