Happy birthday, Chernihiv!
Our city is considered one of the oldest in Ukraine - it was founded before the baptism of Rus.
For its more than 1300-year history, Chernihiv has experienced more than one period of falls and ups. Today it is a unique city, where history and modernity are intertwined in an incredible way. The city's birthday is celebrated on September 21. It was on this day in 1943 that Soviet troops liberated the Chernigov from the German fascist invaders.
On the day of the city, the Scientific Library of Chernihiv National University of Technology offers:

- The Citywide Plan of Events, dedicated to the City Day and the 74th anniversary of the liberation of Chernihiv from the Nazi occupation.
